Following university Lindsay started his career working for Legal and General in 1999. During this period Lindsay obtained a great deal of experience and developed advanced knowledge of the Life and Pension sector. For the majority of this period Lindsay worked in the training department whereby it was imperative to have expert awareness of products, financial services regulation and processes.
In 2003 Lindsay took a career break to embark on a lifetime ambition to travel the world for a year, after which he returned to Legal and General to work as a Protection account manager.
Lindsay made the decision to expand his financial services experience in 2007, so joined Standard Life as a Business Development Manager. It was within this role whilst providing consultancy and support to major national IFA firms, that he developed an interest to take on a customer facing role himself. Therefore, Lindsay joined Halifax as a Financial Advisor in 2008. This was a rewarding and enjoyable period for Lindsay as he relished the opportunity to help a cross section of customers from various backgrounds to achieve their financial goals.
In April 2013 Lindsay started his own IFA practice providing holistic financial advice which developed and grew quickly. Due to this success Lindsay decided to set up Roberts Keen IFA’s Ltd. Originally from Maesteg, Lindsay now lives in Miskin with his wife and two sons.
